» Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida appointed Patrick J. Geraghty CEO to succeed Robert Lufrano, who retired. Geraghty served previously as president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.

» Former St. Joe Co. CEO Peter Rummell is chairman of the Urban Land Institute, the non-profit education and research institute that works for responsible use of land.

» Debbie Mason of Gainesville was named president and CEO of the United Way of North Central Florida. Mason had served as interim CEO.
