In 2001, after 20 years in a corporate job with McDonald’s, Ricky Wade opened his first franchise in Palm Beach County. Now, he and his wife, Lissette, own and operate 10 in the area. They employ 500 at their “B”ing the Best company. In April, they received the Golden Arch Award, which McDonald’s awards to fewer than 1% of franchisees to recognize customer service, community work and building the brand.
