Dawn Gluskin founded SolTec Electronics as a home-based business in Rockledge in 2008. Three years later, she has 14 employees and grosses nearly $3 million a year. With more than 10 years of experience in semiconductor sales, she had a hunch that tracking down obsolete semiconductors and components for businesses that need them might be a winner. SolTec is benefiting this year from advice from the state-funded GrowFL jobs creation program, overseen by the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at UCF.
