Foreign home buyers account for 15% of total home sales in Florida. While most foreign buyers head for Miami or Orlando, southwest Florida also draws a sizable share, according to a survey by the National Association of Realtors. Of the 1,844 home purchases by foreign buyers from May 2004 to May 2005, more than a third bought in southwest Florida.
