? Lourdes Alfons?n Ruiz was appointed assistant city attorney in Coral Gables. She was most recently coordinator for the Lawyers for Literacy initiative and formerly served as assistant city attorney in Hallandale Beach.
? Dreams Inc., a Plantation-based sports memorabilia concern, tapped Jorge Salvat as president of its Field of Dreams franchise division. He was formerly president and CEO of Cartoon Cuts
? Edgar C. Jones Jr. was named vice president and regional development officer in Florida for the Rockefeller Group Development Corp. He had been senior director of RGDC's Florida operations.
? Ernst & Young named Oscar Suarez managing partner of its Miami office. Suarez also remains south Florida tax managing partner for the firm.
