» Mike Rogers has joined Atmore, Ala.-based United Bank as its Florida market president, based in Milton, one of two Florida branch sites in Santa Rosa County. Rogers was formerly a business banker with AmSouth Bank.

» Tallahassee obstetrician Spurgeon McWilliams has been appointed to Florida A&M University board of trustees. McWilliams has received FAMU's president's award and distinguished alumni award.

» Susie Busch-Transou, co-owner of Tri-Eagle Sales, a northwest Florida Anheuser-Busch distributorship, has been named to Florida State University's board of trustees. Busch-Transou has served on the boards of the Florida Education Foundation and the Leon County School Board Foundation.
