» Bill Montford has resigned as superintendent of the Leon County School District to become CEO of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents.

» The Tallahassee Builders Association has selected Jerry Edmonston as executive officer. Edmonston formerly co-owned Total Care Medical.

» Miriam Burns will take the baton in October as music director and conductor of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. Burns is also a substitute conductor for the New York Philharmonic.
