? Construction is under way to create a town center in Miramar. Rockefeller Group Development and Kimco Developers are building the $235-million, mixed-use project along Red Road between Mramar Parkway and Pembroke Road, which will include 355 apartments, 133 townhomes and offi ce and retail space.

? Christa Development, a New York developer, and Blue Rock Real Estate, a New York investment fi rm, are converting the eight-story Caribbean Hotel on Miami Beach into a condominium and adding a 19-story residential tower. The converted hotel, at 3737 Collins Ave., will comprise 35 condo units. The tower will add 68.
