The minimalist approach to Gensler’s sleek office in Tampa, using a predominantly white palette, emphasizes the work, says principal design director Walter Trujillo. A key element is the absence of doors, except in the conference room. Most staff members at the architecture and design firm sit at a long double-sided bar. The white wall behind the bar doubles as surface for writing and pin-ups. A cafe and library also serve as another meeting or work area. The rich aqua hue of the glass wall in the conference room is borrowed from the bay — a scenic treat from the 23rd floor.
