Event: Lights on Tampa

Lights On Tampa, a public installation of massive light displays, often projected onto buildings, opens Jan. 10. Participating artists include Casa Magica, Chris Doyle, Marina Zurkow, Will Pappenheimer and Carlton Ward Jr. Pappenheimer’s exhibit, called the “Tampa Public Mood Ring,” will be built in Cotenchobee Park downtown. The giant ring, which will change colors based on public input online, will be on display through Feb. 1. Information: lightsontampa.org
